Company History

Originally trading as The Fire Safety Practice in 2020, we worked with various businesses to assess and mitigate fire risk across their property portfolios.

Responding to our clients needs we began to provide specific fire risk management advice and support to healthcare organisations, both directly and indirectly. Our experience and expertise is grounded in the reality of delivering fire risk management advice as the Competent Person for a large acute NHS Trust.  We understand how fire risk management operates within the healthcare sector and the importance of having fire professionals who are competent to work in such a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous operating environment.

As our business developed so have our services. We now focus on providing Independent Expert Authorising Engineer services and learning and development opportunities to support fire professionals working in healthcare. We currently partner an acute and community based healthcare Trust as their Independent Expert Authorising Engineer and work with Eastwood Park, tutoring on their HTM fire safety courses.

We are members of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estates Management (IHEEM) the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) as recommended in HTM 05-01 (2026) and the Chartered Institute of Personnel nd Development (CIPD).  We have worked hard over the years to ensure that we have the right set of skills and competencies to support you, as a healthcare organisation, obtain oversight and technical advice that adds value, improving how you manage your fire risk. As qualified HR and fire safety professionals we are uniquely placed to work with you to support your fire risk management systems, staff developement, providing technical advice or management support when you need it, to the extent that you need it.

We have come a long way in a short time and are proud of our success.
